Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Defense of Guam program, providing senior leadership across multiple domains. You will guide interoperability, coordinate with the JPO and external developers, and ensure alignment with MDA objectives to protect a key strategic location.

The role requires a Master’s in STEM, 12+ years of experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Expect collaboration with multiple stakeholders and exposure to secure development

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).
• 12+ years of related professional experience in systems engineering.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to work with ITAR requirements.
• Experience with MDA system elements and interoperability efforts.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and cyber considerations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and manage interoperability risks, issues, and TRs for DoG.
• Coordinate with GDS JPO, services, and external developers for assets.
• Champion inter-element interoperability challenges and provide metrics.
• Support PDR/CDR, TRRs, and technical assessments across programs.
• Develop executive briefings and coordinate cross-agency meetings.
