Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Sr. Systems Software Engineer to work on platform software based on open-source container runtimes and Kubernetes technologies.

You will be building software in Rust and Go, contributing to distributed systems, and helping enable GPUs as first-class resources in container orchestrators like Kubernetes. This is a core Cloud Native role at NVIDIA with collaboration across engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Expert-level knowledge in a systems programming language (Go, Rust)
• Strong understanding of Container Orchestration Systems (K8s)
• Expert knowledge and experience working with System internals of Unix/Unix-like kernels such as Linux.
• Strong background in Cloud Computing and Distributed Software design and development.

Responsibilities

• You'll be part of a small and dynamic team that explores innovative ways to make GPU-accelerated applications easier to develop, deploy, and monitor.
• Work on enabling GPUs as first-class resources in container orchestrators such as Kubernetes.
• Join the core group working on Cloud Native technologies enabling NVIDIA accelerators in the K8s environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA to ensure seamless integration across the stack.
