Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in New York is seeking a Sr. Systems Software Engineer to advance platform software for open-source runtimes and Kubernetes-based systems.

You will design and implement software in Go and Rust, work across distributed systems, and collaborate with multiple teams to enable GPUs as first-class resources in container orchestration. The base salary is 184,000–287,500 USD with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in systems software.
• Expert-level knowledge in Go and Rust.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Experience with Unix/Linux kernel internals and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

We expect you to have strong programming skills, a deep understanding of designing and building software, especially related to Rust and Go, experience with Systems Software and Distributed systems, as well as excellent communication and planning skills.
