Job summary

Sasaki Evolutionary Integration Services (SEIS) seeks a Systems Engineer III to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, focused on maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to missile surveillance and space surveillance missions. Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO with limited travel.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into system hardware/software specs, performing analyses, and guiding DoD lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years’ related experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with a broad range of system types: HW/SW, COTS/GOTS HW/SW, or specialty engineering.
• Experience with configuration and data management, hardware and software testing & evaluation of classified systems.
• Demonstrates expertise in at least one engineering field: software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, test, systems.

Responsibilities

• Converts customer/operational requirements into system hardware and software specifications.
• Performs functional timeline analyses, trade studies, and interface definition studies.
• Provides detailed implementation guidance for efficient solutions meeting capacity needs.
• Supports Agile/DevSecOps teams, including cost estimating, risk management, and scheduling.
• Designs, develops, delivers and deploys engineered solutions following DoD lifecycle processes.
