Job summary

Waters is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive lifecycle management of cellular analysis, cell sorting, and laboratory automation technologies. This role requires a systems-level view to evaluate how software, hardware, reagents, and workflows affect performance and customer experience.

The ideal candidate will integrate software, mechanical, electrical, and optical disciplines to define specifications and support cross-functional investigations, under defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support flow cytometry platforms with system-level troubleshooting and verification planning.
• Develop and maintain technical expertise in bead reagent products for flow cytometry systems.
• Support risk and hazard analyses, regulatory assessments, and technology transfer.
• Support characterization and integration of hardware, software, reagents, and workflows.
• Develop and execute test protocols; use results for design iterations and corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products, processes, and monitoring strategies.
