Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Discipline Engineer for the F-35 Integrated Test Force at Edwards AFB, CA. You will support mission planning, expand utilities and subsystems capabilities, and work with flight test teams to plan, execute, and analyze flight tests.

You will perform post-mission data analysis, lead complex troubleshooting of aircraft anomalies, and review documentation to facilitate fielding of vehicle systems components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related STEM discipline is required.
• Demonstrated experience with Utilities and Subsystems design, integration, or flight test.
• Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the subsystem level.
• Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support current mission planning tasking and expand Utilities and Subsystems capabilities for F-35 Developmental Test.
• Work with flight test team, pilots, and Subsystems IPT to plan, execute, and analyze flight test events.
• Perform post-mission data analysis and lead troubleshooting of aircraft anomalies.
• Review and update documentation to facilitate fielding of vehicle systems components.
