CMC is seeking an FMS Senior Systems Engineer to join our Reston, VA office. You will lead systems engineering activities related to the design and development of Flight Management Systems and avionics functions for commercial and military customers.
The role requires a Bachelor or Master in electrical, aerospace, or computer engineering, 5+ years in avionics, real-time embedded systems, DO-178 and ARINC standards, and experience with C/C++, Simulink/SCADE/Rhapsody. Travel may be required.

Working within the navigation systems design group, you will be responsible for conducting and/or directing systems engineering activities related to the design and development of Flight Management Systems. The systems engineer will participate in all aspects concerning the design of and development of avionics functions and aircraft modernization projects. The engineer is expected to become very familiar with existing CMC product functions, hardware, algorithms, system architecture, industry standards, industry and customer needs, and contribute to product success.

Summary pay range:Level III: $100,000 - $135,000,Level IV: $125,000 - $170,000
