Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and security-focused administration across Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities include vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and applying DISA STIGs. Strong background in NetApp, Splunk, and Ivanti is advantageous. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education.
• Security+, or other IAT Level II/III security certification.
• Experience with Active Directory domains and/or (Linux) NIS domains.
• Knowledge and experience with system administration of production networks including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Linux.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on varied OS update tools necessary to install and update (service packs, patch bundles, etc).
• Direct work experience interfacing with vulnerability remediation tools and security management tools used for system hardening, log management. and configuration management (ex: Nessus, E-STIG, ePo, Ivanti, Splunk, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency applying DISA STIGs and working knowledge of variances
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to enhance and expand skillsets to meet organization and new technology demands
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses.
• Supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on user/system design specifications.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Ensure conformance to technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
