Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Senior Level IT-System Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO. You will perform a variety of technical tasks such as setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, and installing system-wide software.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with VMware vSphere, Linux, Windows Server, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and security compliance including NIST/ISO frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM field or equivalent experience (5 yrs).
• Top Secret clearance to start is required.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Enterprise level Windows Server and Linux systems administration.
• Network architecture & protocol expertise.
• Proficient with troubleshooting utilities and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Set up administrator and service accounts; maintain system docs.
• Tune system performance; install system-wide software.
• Perform design assessments and data-driven solutions.
