General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to support USPACOM J6 engineering, modernization, and sustainment.

The role contributes to Mission Partner Environment (MPE) systems engineering, strengthening secure, resilient, interoperable mission capabilities for U.S. forces and mission partners throughout the Pacific region. This onsite role partners with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineers to translate priorities into executable technical

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent years of experience (can substitute 3 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience (or 9+ years of experience without a degree).
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in systems integration, servers/infrastructure, C2 system support, requirements analysis, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Execute systems engineering, integration, and sustainment tasks for MPE infrastructure and mission command/C2 enabling services.
• Translate operational requirements into system designs, interface specs, build procedures, test cases, and deployment docs.
• Integrate servers, virtualization, identity, storage, and supporting infrastructure with enterprise and coalition environments.
• Conduct engineering troubleshooting, risk assessment, and operational transition activities.
• Coordinate configuration changes and produce as-built diagrams and maintainable documentation.
