Job summary

Zoox is seeking an E2E Feature Engineer to lead Fail-Operational design for the mobility service. You will partner with Product, Safety, Operations, Legal, and other systems engineers to deliver robust capabilities across Vehicle, Autonomy, and Operations segments.

You will create and maintain high-quality requirements, MBSE artifacts, and verification plans, driving cross-functional collaboration through the entire V cycle. A strong technical leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or Physics.
Experience designing complex systems that integrate multiple hardware and software components, with full HW/SW lifecycle understanding.
Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and MBSE artifacts (context diagrams, decomposed requirements).

Responsibilities

Lead the design of Fail-Operational behaviors balancing safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Own design and implementation outcomes with cross-functional teams across V-cycle.
Create and maintain verifiable requirements and model-based designs; translate stakeholder input into clear specifications.
Lead triage with cross-functional stakeholders for bugs or issues.
