CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking an IT Specialist to provide executive-level technical support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, alongside five years of relevant experience.
The position involves maintaining high-performing systems through tailored cybersecurity practices and significant travel throughout Maryland and DC for meetings. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple customer service demands while ensuring service excellence.
Serve onsite as the primary point of contact for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, providing white glove executive-level technical support and coordinating with IT resources to ensure rapid issue resolution. Maintain the stability, integrity, and performance of the organization’s information systems by monitoring, supporting, and optimizing networked environments. Assess system architecture and limitations, design scalable solutions and disaster recovery procedures, and ensure hardware and software compatibility aligned with business needs.
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or, in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
Licenses/Certifications Preferred:
Experience: 5 years software, hardware and/or systems engineering related experience.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs):
3 to 5 times a week throughout the local Marland and DC area.
