Job summary
Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineer Advanced to administer and optimize complex infrastructure across OS, servers, storage, and data platforms in a 40-hour week. The role supports Epic Client and related services with a focus on performance, availability, and security.
Strong preference for ECSA certifications and Epic infrastructure expertise. The position may allow fully remote work for applicants within CHCO's hiring region, with on-site duties typical for IT operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of related experience required.
- AVD, Nerdio and IGEL experience highly desirable.
- Epic Client Services Administrator (ECSA) certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leads day-to-day operational support for OS, server and storage environments.
- Maintains documentation, processes and security procedures.
- Supports ITIL processes including change, incident and problem management.
- Troubleshoots system issues and coordinates with vendors for resolution.
- Manages capacity planning, backups, and data integrity across platforms.
- Participates in on-call rotations and workload scheduling.
