Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a Systems Engineer for Enterprise Application Systems in New York. You will own the PeopleSoft environment, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and security, while supporting production systems across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will also manage other enterprise apps, ensure reliability with disaster recovery, and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to maintain high availability and secure integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on PeopleSoft and PeopleTools administration.
• Experience administering core PeopleSoft infrastructure (WebLogic, Tuxedo, App Server, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker).
• Experience independently managing enterprise application platforms (install/config/patch/monitor/production support).
• Experience identifying and remediating software vulnerabilities with timely patches.
• Experience designing highly available and resilient environments.

Responsibilities

• Own administration of PeopleSoft environment (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, security).
• Ensure reliability, redundancy, backup and recovery; implement DR capabilities and procedures.
• Monitor and address security advisories; manage authentication, certificates, secrets and secure connectivity.
• Cross-train and own additional third-party enterprise apps (on-prem and cloud).
• Develop expertise in new platforms while maintaining governance, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
