Job summary

Nth Cycle is a metal processing technology company pioneering electroextraction for critical minerals. The Senior Systems Engineer will lead architecture, integration, and performance optimization across mechanical, electrical, process, and controls domains from pilot to commercial scale.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in systems engineering, strong leadership, and experience delivering complex hardware systems with rigorous V&V.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading system architecture, integration, and V&V on complex hardware systems.
• Ability to manage cross-disciplinary trade-offs and lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level architecture and requirements for electroextraction platforms.
• Lead integration across mechanical, electrical, process, and controls to meet performance and safety targets.
• Drive design reviews, trade studies, and risk assessments at the system level.
• Define and oversee verification and validation plans, including system testing.
• Lead root-cause analysis for cross-disciplinary issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide teams.
