Job summary

American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) seeks an seasoned Computer Engineer IV to support NSWC Crane division efforts. Requires 10+ years in computer design or software networks and DoD SECRET clearance. Strong OOP and design pattern expertise is essential.

Master/PhD and TS/SCI clearance preferred; position contingent upon contract award. ATSI provides SDVOSB services to DoD and federal clients with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, design methods, and best industry practice.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
• TS/SCI clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and design methods to develop robust, maintainable software and system solutions.
• Support computer design, software development, and/or computer network engineering efforts across the program.
• Apply industry best practices throughout the software/system development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design, develop, and integrate technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in software, systems, or network environments.
• Document design decisions, architecture, and technical specifications.
• Support technical reviews and provide subject matter expertise to government stakeholders and program leadership.
