Job summary

Barbaricum is seeking a System Engineer III to support NSWC Crane Division, Code MXM. You will lead requirements analysis, derive and manage hardware/software design activities, and build a verification strategy to deliver a validated product.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance is required or higher.
• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 7+ years of systems engineering experience in DoD programs.
• Strong knowledge of DoD SE policy and SETR execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering requirements analysis, derivation, and management per MIL-HDBK-539.
• Execute SETR processes and apply root-cause analysis techniques.
• Trace requirements from performance to detailed design and RTVM.
• Develop verification strategies and document timing/methods.
• Apply model-based systems engineering to identify interfaces and subsystems.
