Job summary

Barbaricum is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer IV to directly support the NSWC Crane Division, Code MXM, focusing on EMSO-enabled analysis and hardware across electronic warfare systems.

The role blends bench-level hardware depth with the ability to instruct and advise a joint stakeholder community, requiring a DoD SECRET clearance, ABET EE degree, and 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of relevant electrical/electronics engineering experience.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot systems and to assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical and electronic assemblies.
  • Strong technical communication skills across written and verbal media.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot applicable systems and isolate faults to the component and subsystem level.
  • Assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical assemblies and associated equipment.
  • Provide technical input and advice to Government programmatic and engineering personnel; support systems in the field, at test facilities, and in the fleet.
  • Operate discipline-specific test, troubleshooting, and operational equipment/software as specified in Technical Instructions (TIs).
  • Analyze test data and documentation against requirements and specifications, and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
  • Develop training materials and deliver instruction supporting execution of models, simulation, and statistical/analytical analysis.
