Job summary

BEPC is actively seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our client’s site in Pleasanton, CA. This hands-on role will support End-to-End Solution Integration for next-generation diagnostic workflows, spanning sample prep, library prep, molecular detection technologies, and data-processing pipelines.

The successful candidate will collaborate with assay, software, hardware, and bioinformatics teams to define, integrate, and optimize system-level performance, ensuring robustness and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end system integration across workflows, instruments, software and data pipelines.
• Contribute to requirements, defect tracking, and system testing.
• Design and execute verification and validation tests to ensure requirements are met.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and relevance to requirements.
• Report issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Prepare system documentation including requirements, specifications, integration plans, and verification results.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and drive automation.
