Job summary

White Sky Technologies, LLC. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain DevOps resources for multiple product teams. You will automate builds and deployments, develop infrastructure as code, and support cloud services with Kubernetes and logging/metrics tooling.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in systems engineering, a TS/SCI with Poly clearance, and deep experience with GitLab CI/CD, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes to enable scalable, reliable product deployments.

Qualifications

• Over 20 years experience as a Systems Engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline; 5 years additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Responsibilities

• Developing infrastructure as code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services and build tools.
• Install, configure and provide performance tuning utilizing Kubernetes and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools (i.e. Elasticsearch, Grafana/Prometheus).
• Managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing and deployment code utilizing GitLab runner and Argo CD.
• Managing commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).
• Communication and collaboration: DevOps is a team oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
