Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior System Engineer - Technical Delivery Lead to manage a portfolio of eight COTS and GOTS applications and serve as the government-facing delivery integrator. You will lead cross-team activities with Government Product Lead and the Freedom PMO to ensure milestones are met.

This role requires deep systems engineering expertise, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and proficiency with Atlassian tools.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 20+ years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope (25 years can substitute).
• Experience applying systems engineering principles across the lifecycle and delivering solutions across multiple applications.
• Ability to lead senior technical teams while collaborating with government stakeholders, product leads, and developers to implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the task-order-level technical and delivery integration lead across a portfolio of COTS/GOTS apps.
• Coordinate with Government Product Lead and Freedom PMO to align milestones and delivery.
• Promote standardized engineering processes, documentation, and quality across teams.
• Review requirements, designs, and plans to identify risks, gaps, and cross-team impacts.
• Facilitate technical discussions among government leadership, product leads, and delivery teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into system-level requirements and actionable guidance.
• Support portfolio planning, backlog prioritization, and milestone readiness.
• Identify and escalate technical issues and delivery risks to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain technical depth to assess solution approaches and decision-making.
• Use Jira/Confluence for requirements management and reporting.
