Job summary

Leonardo DRS Airborne and Intelligence Systems in the United States seeks a senior engineer to drive technology and deliver programs on time and within budget. You will design, develop, analyze and test products or subsystems, mentor junior engineers, and balance customer specs with cost considerations.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering, cross-disciplinary expertise, and familiarity with Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field with at least 8 years of experience.
Experience across multiple engineering disciplines.
Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and dashboards preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive technology and complete activities on time and budget.
Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems.
Mentor and coach other engineers; review customer specifications and develop designs with cost as a key variable.
Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments.
Communicate clearly with manufacturing, supply chain, program management and the customer.
Participate in preparing complex proposals and support other engineers and staff.
Engage in analysis, design, development and implementation of new/existing systems; may include architectural design.
