Job summary

Compass is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer/Data Modeler to translate mission requirements into capabilities and oversee integration into enterprise architecture. The role involves leading analyses, evaluating solutions, and coordinating system deployment across government clients.

The position requires mastery of systems engineering with a strong data modeling background and experience with SOM, GEOINT concepts, and DoD/IC environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with system/software development lifecycle (SDLC) across projects.
• Familiarity with Structured Observation Management (SOM) for data discovery and NGA NSG.
• Knowledge of geospatial GEOINT ontology concepts and imagery analysis standards.
• Experience with Agile and DEVCAP methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Direct requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, and analysis across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies.
• Oversee planning, traceability of user requirements, architectures, and problem resolution to automate or improve systems.
• Advise on changes to solution designs based on requirements and new tech.
• Coordinate capture/translation of mission requirements into system/capability requirements.
• Lead AoAs/CoAs/Trade Studies and engineering assessments.
• Support strategic technical planning, project management, risk, and interface design.
