Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Modeler to join the Intel Sector-Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will work within SAFe, shaping multi-year modernization efforts, legacy integration, and system development with a focus on security and reliability.

The role requires extensive MBSE experience, collaboration across diverse teams and with government customers, and a strong background in quality and process improvement. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 15 years of related experience.
• Experience in system architecture, design and development, requirements analysis, data flow design, network design, testing, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with System Engineering modeling tools and MBSE using DODAF and/or UAF.
• Experience supporting legacy system integration and modernization efforts.
• Experience working with government customers and contractor personnel on task plans and deliverables.
• Strong background in quality management and process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, mentor teams, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing agile team within SAFe framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive architecture artifacts.
• Guide technical teams through large-scale capability development and modernization programs.
• Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal project communications, status updates, and briefings.
