Job summary

Paylocity in Lenexa, KS seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and support Windows Server environments and related infrastructure. You will manage virtualization, storage, backups, and DR, while ensuring security, performance, and high availability.

You will also oversee network administration, production/print tech support, cloud services, and enterprise applications, collaborating with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, network administration, or infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, printing, or production environments preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft server technologies, virtualization, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support Windows server environments and related infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization platforms, storage systems, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Ensure high availability and business continuity of critical systems.
• Manage LAN, WAN, firewalls, switches, and VPN connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement corrective measures.
• Support production and print technology workflows and integrations.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and compliance.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Exchange Online.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT staff to resolve technical issues.
