Share is building a ground-breaking marketplace for bandwidth with a cloud-first infrastructure. We seek a Senior Systems Engineer to own production Linux, virtualization, and security at scale, in collaboration with network and security teams.

You will work with VMware, KVM, Hyper‑V, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), ensuring robust, carrier-grade operations and a modern, scalable stack in production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience, preferably in telco/ISP/carrier-grade environments.
• Deep, production Linux administration with scalable systems and hardened security.
• Strong virtualization depth across VMware, KVM, and Hyper‑V.
• Solid networking fundamentals and experience with DNS, VLANs, load balancing, and routing.
• Hands-on experience with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure foundation and security perimeter at scale.
• Maintain and harden Linux systems in production environments.
• Manage virtualization stack, from VM to hardware abstraction.
• Collaborate with network and security teams on carrier-grade needs.
• Operate in a cloud-first stack with Kubernetes exposure and CI/CD integration.
