Job summary

AutoZone is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our expanding eCommerce B2B team, supporting AutoZonePro.com and our Mobile Apps. The role focuses on software development, production operations, capacity planning, and performance management.

Design, create, test, deploy, and support software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern DevOps practices. Collaborate with IT and business partners to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for commercial customers.

Qualifications

Experience designing, testing, deploying and supporting software applications.
Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
Hands-on with Git, CI/CD pipelines and test frameworks.
Experience monitoring apps with Dynatrace; familiar with cloud deployments on GCP.
Ability to troubleshoot in dev and production environments; collaborate with IT and business partners.

Responsibilities

Design, create, test, deploy, and support software applications.
Use SDLC to produce high quality software.
Troubleshoot problems in development and production environments.
Coordinate with product owners and partners to address business problems.
Participate in high level design sessions and support low level designs.
Work with architects to ensure scalability, automation and self-healing processes.
Divide work and mentor junior developers; collaborate with IT teams.
