Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4-7 years of direct, hands-on experience in requirements elicitation, generation, and management.
• INCOSE SEP, CPRE Foundation Level (IREB), or other recognized systems engineering certifications.
• Proven record of delivering requirements-driven work products through the full product development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or related domains.
• Proficient in Agile or Scrum methodologies; comfortable managing requirements work across sprint and program increment boundaries.
• Working knowledge of ASPICE SYS.2 (System Requirements Analysis), SYS.3 (System Architectural Design), and related support processes (SUP.8 Configuration Management, SUP.9 Problem Resolution).
• Proficient in at least one requirements management tool (Jama Connect, IBM DOORS, or Polarion) at a practitioner level; experience configuring item types, relationships, or review workflows is a plus.
• Experience leading or co-leading safety analyses (HARAs, STPAs, FMEAs).
• Working knowledge of ISO standards like ISO 15288, ISO 9001, ISO 25119, IEC 61508, ISO 34503; ability to derive requirements from standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder identification and analysis for assigned systems; coordinate with Systems Architect and Dev Manager; track KPI through milestones.
• Translate product goals into detailed, hierarchically structured requirements; write specifications and enforce quality standards.
• Generate, maintain, and baseline ICDs for subsystems and vehicle-level interactions.
• Use diagramming and modeling techniques to define system structure, behavior, and interfaces; select models for the domain.
• Lead requirements prioritization with Dev Manager and Systems Architect; provide technical rationale and analyze change impact across subsystems.
• Co-lead safety analyses with Safety Engineers; ensure safety requirements are integrated into specifications.
• Lead structured validation sessions to verify requirements meet stakeholder needs; close discrepancies.
• Conduct trade studies with SMEs; evaluate new feature feasibility and effort; provide recommendations.
• Contribute to ConOps development; define lifecycle requirements including operational transition and sunsetting criteria.
• Derive and trace requirements from standards (ISO 15288, ISO 9001, ISO 25119, IEC 61508, ISO 34503).
• Co-chair design reviews; own traceability and compliance disposition; review and approve test plans for coverage.
