Job summary

Noblis is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for an Albuquerque, New Mexico program focused on Autonomous Systems and conventional weapons effects. The role requires active TS with the ability to obtain SCI and US Citizenship, with extensive experience in modeling, simulation, and systems engineering across the lifecycle.

The successful candidate will drive analyses of alternatives, risk management, and cross-team coordination, maintaining SE master schedules and ensuring government alignment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering with modeling & simulation focus.
• Experience with conventional weapons effects models and defense contexts.
• Proven ability to conduct vulnerability analysis, AoA, gap analyses and trade studies.
• Strong uncertainty quantification and statistical analysis in complex systems.
• Experience creating SE master schedules and technical baselines per DoW standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability analyses using conventional weapons effects models to evaluate performance and survivability.
• Lead AoA and trade-off studies to inform design decisions and requirements.
• Develop and maintain SE process framework and master schedule aligned with milestones and government expectations.
• Perform gap analyses to identify deficiencies in modeling/simulation capabilities and propose solutions.
• Apply uncertainty analysis to communicate design margins and confidence levels to stakeholders.
• Assess predictive capabilities of design margins and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Act as a cross-program integrator for engineering teams, program offices, and sponsors.
