Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to support the US Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program.

You will lead the technical engagements that bring new partners onto the platform: conducting technical exchanges with their engineering teams, establishing the integration design, decomposing the resulting requirements into engineering work, and authoring the reference material other teams build from.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in systems engineering, solutions architecture, integration engineering, technical program management, or forward-deployed engineering.
• Architecture judgment in API- and service-based systems: REST or gRPC integration, authentication flows (OIDC, service credentials, secretless), data contracts, event streams.
• Ownership across an organizational boundary as technical lead to external teams or platform surface with external/internal customers.
• Technical program execution: conduct working sessions, document decisions, track commitments on both sides.
• Technical writing: reference architectures and integration guides; writing sample required.
• Clear communication across audiences to partners and senior military stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead partner engagements end to end: conduct exchanges, own the integration design, and drive items to resolution across organizations.
• Design across organizational boundaries: own problems spanning multiple teams and companies; lead through design and proof of concept.
• Establish reusable patterns: create reference architectures, guidance, and integration documentation shared across teams.
• Own the intake process: translate needs into scoped work and document decisions for each request.
• Scale onboarding across the Army: create automated or self-service paths to onboard formations and partners.
