Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 in Englewood, CO to define system-level requirements and manage interfaces for aircraft modification programs. You will collaborate across engineering teams to ensure requirements are captured, allocated, and carried through the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes leadership in requirements, safety documentation, and cross-functional coordination within the Engineering Department, supporting both military and civil operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical or Systems engineering with 7–10 years’ experience.
• Professional engineer licensure or MS degree is preferred.
• Experience with system engineering standards and phase-gate processes.

Responsibilities

• Define, memorialize, and manage system and subsystem interfaces and requirements.
• Architect subsystems and components with cross-functional teams.
• Lead SRR activities to align customer aircraft requirements with internal specs.
• Develop technical quotes to support ESRs and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance plans and risk management across NPI phases.
