STS Government Solutions, LLC (SGS) in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team supporting a US government mission. The role focuses on depot test systems, avionics, and integration of new equipment and software.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor's in engineering or related field and 5+ years of systems engineering experience, MBSE tools (MBSE/JIRA/DOORS), and strong communication with leadership and contracting officers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, or SE.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience in avionics/Depot Test Systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership and contracting officers.
• Experience with MBSE, JIRA, or DOORS.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Depot Test Systems and ATS.
• Support upgrades to DTS used to repair aircraft systems.
• Assist with integration of new equipment and software.
• Review technical data packages and specs for capabilities.
• Document findings in technical reports per CDRLs.
• Participate in kick-off, status, and design reviews.
• Support reverse engineering activities.
• Assess data gaps and prepare reports per CDRL A007.
