Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Engineer- Systems Engineering to shape NSA/IC ground architectures and modernize ISR capabilities. You will guide decisions by leading analyses, designing data-driven architectures, and driving end-to-end data workflows with automation and AI.

Requirements include a STEM bachelor’s and 10 years’ experience in data management, analytics, or systems engineering. Domestic travel is expected; TS/SCI clearance is required for many roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields and 10 years in data management, data engineering, data analytics, or systems engineering.
• Experience implementing data standards, technical specifications, and data reference architectures.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~10% and occasional travel to Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead AoAs, studies and pilots to guide government decisions on technical solutions and program direction.
• Design ISR data management strategies and governance for data-driven architectures.
• Optimize ISR data workflows using automation, augmentation, and AI capabilities.
• Architect end-to-end solutions for interoperability and data ingest, storage, and dissemination.
• Lead acquisition processes modernizing the ISR enterprise with automation and AI.
• Provide expert reviews on IC/DoD data standards and policy documents.
