Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Fires Systems Engineer Senior to advance enterprise IT for joint fires operations. You will install, configure, test, and maintain AFATDS OS, software, and system tools while monitoring networks for peak performance.

Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a BA/BS degree, an Active Secret Clearance, and CompTIA Security+. Fluency in English and French is essential for collaboration with multinational teams and field units.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is required.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with AFATDS hardware/software is required.
• Experience in Windows system administration and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain AFATDS operating systems and software.
• Initialize, configure, and troubleshoot software interfaces.
• Manage and monitor systems, networks, and infrastructure for performance.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and resilience of infrastructure.
• Prepare technical reports and provide over-the-shoulder training.
