Job summary

Textron Systems in Utah seeks a Systems Engineer IV to support strategic weapon system and subsystem design solutions, including requirements analysis, architecture, integration, and test. A strong candidate has at least 10 years in a Systems Engineering role and will contribute to design, planning, execution, and test and evaluation of advanced programs.

The role emphasizes lifecycle coverage from development to manufacturing and fielding, and requires BS in engineering, DoD process

Qualifications

10 years of related experience.
BS in systems, mechanical, or electrical engineering; MS a plus.
Familiarity with DoD major acquisition program processes and requirements.

Responsibilities

Participate in requirements traceability, system architecture definition, interface management, and risk management for assigned subsystem.
Conduct system modeling, define concepts of operations, and manage requirements in support of system design.
Develop subsystem and component manufacturing specifications across the system including verification plans.
Generate subsystem and component test requirements and work with test team to plan, execute, and evaluate test events.
Address Engineering Lifecycle requirements from development to manufacturing to fielding and operational support.
Participate in integration efforts at the subsystem and system level and support higher level program integration efforts.
Contribute to milestone technical reviews and generate required design documentation.
