The role involves developing next-generation Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) Ground Control Stations by integrating new software and hardware. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 7-9 years of relevant experience, and the ability to secure a clearance. Qualifications

This position is for aSeniorSystems Engineer wholeadsacross functional team working in an AgileDevelopmentenvironmentin order todevelopnext generation Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) Ground Control Stations (GCS). This includes integrating new software and payloads into existing the DoD UAS fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities

While leading a cross functional team in an Agile Development environment, will perform engineering tasks including but not limited to:

• Regularly meet with customer in support of project goals
• Derivation and allocation of systemrequirements
• Developcommon standards and best practices forcreatingSysMLartifacts including Use Cases, Activity Diagramsand Component Diagrams
• Manage requirements and ensure traceability to testcases
• Integrate new hardware and software in a Linux developmentenvironment
• Participate in design reviews with customersincluding SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR
• Articulate product acceptance standards and streamline integration in support of the overall enterprisevision
• Provide guidance and mentorship to juniorengineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’sDegreein engineeringor another relatedSTEMfield. Will consider years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 7to 9yearsof relatedexperience
