Job summary

Talent Groups seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead and support hardware installations, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities at customer sites. This role requires extensive experience with mid-to-large scale hardware refreshes and deployments in a government environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and frequent travel to support mission-critical systems.

You will create deployment documentation and technical specifications and serve as the primary customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics with related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting installation/boot-up issues in complex environments.
• Experience with mid-to-large scale hardware refreshes/deployments in government settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop deployment support documentation for customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop deployment support documentation for customers
• Work with the management to develop deployment specifications and configurations

• Create technical artifacts needed for deployments at FAA customer sites
• Troubleshoot malfunction occurrences during hardware installations

Education

• Bachelor s degree (in computer science, engineering, or mathematics) + 10 yrs. related experience�

Essential Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs
• Experience using power tools
• Experience troubleshooting installation/boot-up issues
• Vast knowledge and experience with mid to large scale hardware refreshes/deployments in a government environment
• Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have time management, priority allocation and task management skills
• Ability to interact with customers and team members
• Must be able to work in a time-sensitive environment installing hardware on mission-critical systems
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to travel- travel will be frequent
• Excellent customer service, Interpersonal skills and communication skills are required
