The Raytheon Full Service Partnering Center (FSPC) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in manufacturing to support a variety of critical programs onsite in Poulsbo, WA.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment within the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit, engaging with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions, ensure quality control, and support low-rate initial production and sustainment activities.

In this high-visibility role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including material program managers, manufacturing teams, engineers, and mission assurance/quality teams.

Your technical expertise, innovative mindset, and ability to lead will directly contribute to the success of our mission.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to validate operational performance and capabilities.
  • Driving innovation by contributing to the development of new concepts that deliver value to our customers.
  • Supporting integration and testing efforts as needed to ensure operational success.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed data to propose changes to testing equipment, processes, or procedures.
  • Partnering with design engineering teams to identify, develop, and implement hardware enhancements or solutions.
  • Providing technical guidance and training to technicians, including troubleshooting and skill development.
  • Monitoring product yields, identifying yield detractors, and implementing corrective actions to meet program objectives.
  • Actively participating in program meetings to report yield performance, identify root causes, and share corrective action plans.
  • Communicating effectively across teams and stakeholders, fostering a high-performance and innovative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering, along with expertise in at least one of the following areas: Test Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering with a focus on integration and testing.
  • Experience creating and reviewing mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of design professionals including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Test, Logistics and other System Engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and either recommend or execute rework to resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience mentoring and/or providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers or technicians.
  • Proven ability to lead or oversee technical teams, including managing tasks, tracking progress, reporting outcomes, and supporting proposals.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Experience developing and evaluating test plans and authoring detailed technical reports.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
