Job summary

B&A is seeking a Senior Systems Developer to support the Defense Health Agency CBIS program. You will sustain and modernize the OpenText-based EIM platform hosted in AWS GovCloud, backing DHA workflows such as HAIMS, SPORTS, SNPMIS, and DMACS for service members and families.

You will design, build, test, and debug workflows in an agile team delivering production every three weeks. You will need a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in Health IT, with DoD agile experience, AI capabilities, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required plus 10+ years Health IT experience.
Experience with DoD agile development (DoDI 5000.02).
Experience applying AI to reduce development time and defects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug new EIM workflows and enhancements.
Coordinate with Government teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Develop and configure workflows using OpenText AppWorks and Content Server.
Deliver user stories through agile sprints with government tools.
Analyze and fix ServiceNow tickets; support after-hours deployments.
Maintain interfaces (HL7, FHIR, IHE) and migrate to MuleSoft.
Support COTS upgrades, patches, and security remediation (no CAT I/II findings).
Apply AI tools to reduce development time and defects.
Deliver source code and docs; update design/interface docs with each release.
