Job summary

B&A is seeking an Application Workflow SME to support the Defense Health Agency's CBIS program. You will lead ECM/BPM strategies using OpenText AppWorks and Content Server, advising government teams on optimal configurations and upgrade cadences.

The role is based in the National Capital Region and requires collaboration with functional teams to enhance workflows, data models, and user interfaces, while ensuring compliance with NARA and DoDI 5015.02 standards.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of OpenText AppWorks and Content Server.
• Ability to translate business workflow requirements into ECM/BPM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) products, especially OpenText AppWorks and Content Server.
• Give the Government and technical teams analysis and recommendations on how best to use the EIM/BPM COTS products to meet application workflow requirements.
• Advise the Government on how best to use COTS products based on current and future versions, and recommend an optimal upgrade cadence for each product.
• Assess the impact of new workflow requirements on the production platform, and support level-of-effort estimates for small, medium, and large workflow implementations.
• Work with the functional community to improve user workflows and the user interface, including wireframes, data models, and proof-of-concept builds.
• Support records management capabilities that meet NARA and DoDI 5015.02 requirements, including the HAIMS, DMACS Archive, and FILER migrations.
• Coordinate with OpenText Professional Services on activities that need manufacturer expertise.
• Support training materials, user guides, and system administrator guides when workflow functionality changes.
