Job summary

B&A is seeking a Senior Database Architect to support the Defense Health Agency’s CBIS program. You will own the design, implementation, and sustainment of the databases behind EIM’s workflows, hosted in AWS GovCloud, ensuring they are fast, available, secure, and ready for reporting.

You will work on migrations, schema design, performance tuning, and maintaining data dictionaries for releases, with a focus on enterprise reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing large data migrations and ETL.
• Experience implementing database schemas within SQL Server.
• Strong SQL programming and performance tuning skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain EIM application workflow databases to ensure performance, reporting capability, availability, and security.
• Provide database administration, SQL programming, database structure and schema design, table configuration, problem solving, and related database communications.
• Lead large data migrations and ETL efforts, including HAIMS, DMACS Archive, and STR migrations.
