Knowledge Builders Inc. seeks an experienced Project/Program expert to lead APS reporting initiatives.

The role focuses on creating and updating Federal APS reporting functions, real-time reporting, and dashboards using Cognos BI to meet OSC audit requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with OREPA and APS staff, designing data models, writing complex SQL, validating reports, and transferring knowledge to staff while ensuring secure, scalable BI solutions for the Human Services

Qualifications

• 84+ months in business requirement gathering, analysis and logical design.
• 84+ months in creating and modifying Framework Manager models.
• 84+ months creating/modifying reports using Cognos tools.
• 84+ months using SQL for analysis and reporting with joins across tables/views.
• 84+ months testing reports, analytics, troubleshooting, presenting data challenges to stakeholders.
• 84+ months working in social services or related fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OREPA and APS staff on BI requirements.
• Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
• Perform complex SQL coding for reporting and testing.
• Model using Cognos Framework Manager and Transformer.
• Secure models at data/object/package levels.
• Create advanced reports in Cognos Analytics 12.
• Test reports and dashboards in all environments.
• Transfer knowledge to Cognos users and provide end-user support.
• Research and develop BI solutions for new functionality.
