Qualifications

• 5 years related work experience required.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) and AD services, including DNS, DHCP, and GPO management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration; experience with Hyper-V and VMware.
• Experience with cloud integration (Azure AD, hybrid environments), patch management (WSUS), and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong understanding of security hardening, endpoint protection, and performance monitoring tools (PerfMon, SCOM, SolarWinds).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security policies and access controls; ensure regulatory/compliance standards.
• Analyze system performance, optimize configurations, and resolve escalations to maintain reliability.
• Design and manage Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Oversee virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware) and plan upgrades/migrations.
• Identify automation opportunities and document procedures for operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
