Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years related experience
• Advanced degree with 6 years related experience
• 5+ years of People Management experience, including leading Senior+ level engineers (Preferred)
• Technical background in IP networking, systems architecture, or infrastructure engineering (Preferred)
• Experience managing organizational budgets and making investment trade‑offs (Preferred)
• Experience with external technology vendor partnerships and negotiations (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Senior+ engineers; foster a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous growth.
• Continuously improve team processes, tools, operational efficiency, and delivery velocity — building systems that scale.
• Own the organizational capex budget.
• Define deployment process and approach for pre‑GA technologies and emerging capabilities.
• Drive AI integration across team workflows, tooling, and operations— as a current expectation, not a future aspiration.
• Build and sustain trusted partnerships with stakeholders across internal and external partners; influence outcomes across organizational boundaries.
• Develop engineers into cross‑org technical leaders who drive direction and decisions beyond their immediate scope.
• Communicate strategy, progress, and risk to senior and executive leadership with clarity and business context.
