Job summary

Stryker is seeking a dynamic product development leader to own system architecture and drive alignment across software, electrical, and mechanical engineering in a global product line.

You will champion systems thinking, manage requirements, verification planning, and risk management while partnering with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Engineering teams to deliver safe, high-quality medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines required.
• 8+ years of product development or systems engineering experience.
• Experience in regulated industry environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture, technical strategy, and integration activities for complex medical device products and platforms.
• Translate customer, clinical, and business needs into system-level requirements across software, electrical, and mechanical teams.
• Lead requirements development, allocation, traceability, and verification planning throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive system-level decision making, architecture reviews, tradeoff analyses, and risk assessments.
• Lead cross-functional product development from concept through verification, ensuring safe, reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure design controls and standards compliance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate product development risks with a risk-based development approach.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new capabilities and platforms for future needs.
• Build alignment across global stakeholders and influence design direction without direct authority.
