Job summary

SHINE Systems is seeking a Senior-Level Systems Architect to provide technical leadership and guidance to mid- and junior-level architects in designing complex architectures. The role focuses on API design, data services, platform services, cloud and infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise requirements and traceability to enterprise architecture.

The position is onsite in Chantilly or Springfield, VA, and requires extensive experience in government/industry DoDAF, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field or equivalent senior-level experience as a Systems Architect.
12+ years' senior-level experience in government or industry (DoDAF, EC) including Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Data Architecture.
TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance in design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures with traceability to enterprise requirements.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to identify automation or improvement opportunities.
Evaluate computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to inform architecture and solution design.
Develop proposed changes to solution architecture designs based on requirements and emerging technologies.
