Job summary

GDIT is seeking a strategic Systems Architect SME to lead a highly technical team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s DSMS Enterprise. You will oversee reliability, security, and modernization of the DSMS enterprise infrastructure, including JADE, DIAMONDS, and NIMACS platforms.

The role requires 15+ years in IT, Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and DoD architecture experience, with on-site work at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent, and 15+ years of related work experience.
• Proven experience serving as a technical lead or chief architect advising program or senior management on technical strategy, risk, and resourcing decisions.
• Must currently possess a Top-Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility. TS/SCI preferred.
• Work location is Fort Belvoir, VA, with occasional CONUS travel. Not a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for architecture decisions and modernization priorities.
• Mentor a team of systems administrators and engineers for 99.7% uptime.
• Drive VMware vSphere, Windows, RHEL, and DBs security and performance.
• Ensure RMF, ATO compliance and DoDAF artifacts.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders to translate risk into decisions.
