Job summary

Leonardo DRS Airborne and Intelligence Systems seeks an experienced system architect to engineer receivers and transmitters from VLF to Ka bands, balancing noise figure and dynamic range. You will collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Software and Test teams to derive and decompose requirements and guide multi-disciplinary integration through IV&V.

The role includes driving technology decisions, leading major problem resolution, mentoring engineers, and contributing to proposals and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Mastery of technologies and domain knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ability to lead major problem resolution efforts and support customer partner status.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and implement systems/sub-systems; determine specifications and support hardware/software acquisitions.
• Drive technology, schedules and budgets; mentor engineers and lead teams.
• Develop designs to meet customer requirements, document specifications and support testing.
• Provide input for proposals and engage with management, customers and suppliers.
