Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking a System Architect to lead design and evolution of on‑premise and cloud infrastructure across Windows, Linux, UNIX, and containerized environments.

You will set technical roadmaps, establish standards, and mentor a systems engineering team as deputy to the Systems Manager. The role requires deep technical execution, architectural vision, and leadership to guide projects and people in a large multi-site enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/IS or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
• 7–10+ years in large, multi-site, 24x7 infrastructure environments with cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Hands-on design and deployment of cloud solutions on Azure/AWS; experience with hybrid-cloud is a must.
• Strong Kubernetes, containers, and DevOps practices including CI/CD design.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reference architectures for compute, storage, virtualization, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Develop a roadmap of infrastructure products aligned with enterprise architecture and software needs.
• Translate business needs into infrastructure designs with clear success criteria.
• Create standards and patterns to promote consistency, reusability, and quality across the environment.
• Provide governance, architecture reviews, and decision-making for on‑premise and cloud initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and lead PoCs for migration strategies and hybrid-cloud adoption.
• Collaborate with engineers, solution architects, and EA to ensure integrated operation of networks, apps, and infra.
• Travel to major US cities and abroad as required by projects.
