Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst to join the Security Master File (SMF) team in a role focused on requirements gathering, translating requirements into system designs, and documenting specifications.

You will lead analysis for current applications and future initiatives, coordinating with analysts, developers, managers, and testers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, plus experience in data modelling and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience conducting system analysis meetings with stakeholders and business.
• Ability to develop system design documents and project plans with milestones.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to articulate issues and propose viable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as systems project coordinator for assigned projects, tracking milestones and ensuring SDLC documentation.
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
• Analyze requirements and create functional specifications for developers (data modelling, dataflow, screen design).
• Guide product specifications sessions and assist in designing solutions for SMF/GoldenSource domains.
• Execute integration testing and support UAT; liaise with QA to ensure test coverage.
• Collaborate with Business, IT, and external vendors to meet requirements.
• Create integration test cases to exercise logic and ensure application functionality.
• Research backend data using basic SQL for the SMF/GoldenSource portfolio.
